On Wednesday, 20 December 2017 a series of meetings with the refugees who participated in the EMST program Face Forward …into my home will begin. At EMST’s Temporary Exhibition Space participants, in front of their portraits, will share with the visitors their experience from their participation in the program, their thoughts, memories and the emotions awakened by their contact with the artworks from the EMST Collection. They will finally discuss about how they view their new life beginning in Athens.
In the first Face Forward meeting …at EMST, on 20 December 2017, at 17.30 – 19.00, we will have the opportunity to meet three of the younger participants.

Face Forward …into my home was designed and implemented by EMST’s Education Department, in collaboration with UNHCR, and is funded by the European Commission’s department for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), in the framework of the ESTIA programme, providing urban accommodation and cash assistance to thousands of asylum seekers and refugees in Greece.
