The International Festival of Ancient Olympia and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Ilia in collaboration with the National Museum of Contemporary Art, presented at the Archaeological Museum of Olympia the exhibition, titled “Through the gaze of others – Portraits and stories from the programme Face Forward … into my home“.

Eight portraits and stories from the programme, those of Reem, Patricia, John, Azizi, Maya, Carlos and Dabbas  were hosted in the exhibition.  The participant refugees shared with the visitors their story as well the way they see “through their gaze” the Greek civilization, both ancient and contemporary.

The opening of the exhibition took place on Friday, July 20, at 8.30pm at the entrance of the new Archaeological Museum of Ancient Olympia. The exhibition lasted for one month (July 20 – August 20, 2018).
